PROJECT MANAGER OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE (O&M)

 

WRE group, an independent power producer (IPP) is seeking to employ an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Project Manager to join the existing O&M team in Athens.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

 

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all site activities related to designated projects are carried out in line with the company O&M guidelines and requirements. The project Manager will report directly to the senior management. More specifically:

  • Manage a portfolio of Wind Parks and Solar Plants in Greece, ensuring that all O&M works are undertaken in accordance with contractual scopes, efficiently and effectively

  • Ensure works are scheduled and organized to maximize performance and safe operation of the plants

  • Controlling, Monitoring, Documentation and Reporting

  • Working with Vendors and warehousing

  • Assist with other administrative activities

  • Support with new project development and company processes

 
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

 

Passion for renewable energy, self-motivated, original thinker with project management skills, able to succeed in a team environment, with imagination, creativity, and vision.

  • Academic degree in Engineering, preferably but not exclusively in the field of Electrical Engineering/Electronics or Mechanical Engineering

  • Experience in LV and MV electrical schematics

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

  • Strong organization and time management skills

  • Excellent use of spoken and written English

  • Solid general knowledge of computer and communication technology

  • Proficiency with 2D and 3D modelling software (e.g. AutoCAD)

  • European Driver’s license

  • Availability to travel

  • Team spirit

 
THE FOLLOWING WILL BE CONSIDERED AN ADVANTAGE
  • Proven track record in Project Management and O&M activities of operational wind and solar plants
